All Religions Are One

Have you ever felt different? Have you ever felt that the people surrounding you treat you in a certain way based on your beliefs? Have you ever felt isolated because of your religious beliefs and felt that you aren’t able to relate to your peers?

There are over 7 billion people who roam the earth today, most of them adhere to certain religious beliefs and customs that seem different from one another.  These apparent differences are often the source of discord.  Throughout time, people have fought one another and discriminated against one another, all for the sake of some differences in scriptures or beliefs.

However, the Quran encourages us to be one with our brothers and sisters in humanity:

“O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.” Quran 49:13

Today there is a clear separation between groups of people based on some differences in beliefs and practices. But Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan (pbuh) has revealed that all religions are united and are considered to be all parts of one giant family of faith.
