Ghasem Yousefi Rameneti
Ghasem Yousefi Rameneti’s house in Babel was stormed and he was arrested in front of his wife and children. The police held him in solitary confinement and threatened to sentence him to ten years of imprisonment if he continued to practice his belief in the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light. The government also threatened to pressure his employer to fire him, putting him under great economic strain. The court sentenced him to several years of probation.
His passport was confiscated on the 8th of December 2022 at the Imam Khomeini Airport (the document is attached), and he was told to attend a court hearing. On the 15th of December, he was arrested for the second time and sent to Evin Prison.

Mohammadreza Shekariyanasl
Mohammadreza Shekariyanasl’s house in Tehran was searched and he was taken to a detainment facility where he was blindfolded. The police held him in solitary confinement for eleven days and questioned him about his beliefs. The state sentenced him to two years of exile from his home city of Tehran.
On the 15th of December, he (for the second time) and 14 other members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light were arrested and are in Evin Prison.
Alireza Akbari Erzati and his family
Alireza Akbari Erzati, his brother Owais Akbari Erzati, his wife Maryam Naghshbandi, and his two kids (aged 8 and 14) are in prison now for their belief in the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light.
Saeed Goodarzi
He is one of the members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light who was also arrested on the 15th of December 2022 simply for his faith and religion. Out of fear of discrimination and possible death, Saeed has had to hide his belief in the Ahmadi Religion of Peace & Light. He is currently being persecuted for his belief.

Hamidreza is one of the members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light who was also arrested on the 15th of December 2022 simply for his faith and religion. His parents and 3 brothers fled the country for their lives.

Since the arrest of these 15 members in December, they have had no legal support or representation. The prison has refused to disclose any information to their lawyer nor grant them any visitation.
So far we have counted 70 official members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light in Iran. According to their reports, none of them feel safe practicing their religion and most of them do not let anyone – including their families – know what they believe in.
The Iranian government even produced a propaganda video against the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light. Discrimination against members has skyrocketed since then. We insert the link here, as evidence:
