On December 15, 2022, 15 Iranian Ahmadis were arrested and taken to the notorious Evin prison. They experienced a great deal of abuse and persecution. This persecution led to them being compelled to seek asylum, resulting in the illegal detainment in Turkey as refugees legally seeking to cross borders. Human Rights Without Frontiers has been actively vocal in urging authorities to stop this unjust persecution.
Over 100 members of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light, including women, children, and elderly, were subjected to physical, verbal and sexual violence by Turkish police on May 24, 2023, at the Turkish border with Bulgaria. UN Human Rights Experts and Human Rights Without Frontiers have urged Turkey to halt the deportation of our innocent members.
Human Rights Without Frontiers continue to speak out against the brutal treatment of our innocent members.
