Asenath was a high-born, aristocratic Egyptian woman. She was the wife of Prophet Joseph and the mother of his sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

Asenath incarnated later as Omrah bint Al-Noman, the wife of Mukhtar Al-Thaqafi. After refusing to disown her husband Mukhtar, who had sought to avenge the death of Imam Al-Hussain (pbuh), she was taken and killed. She died a martyr for Imam Al-Hussain’s aims. They wrote a bright page in the history of Jihad. The page has illuminated the way for generations.

Today, Omrah has returned to give victory to the Qa’im and in this round she is the wife of Simeon, brother of Joseph.
